The Commission should maintain and further develop the Safety Business Gateway web portal, enabling economic operators to comply with their obligations to inform market surveillance authorities and consumers of dangerous products they have made available on the market. It should enable quick and efficient information exchange between economic operators and national authorities, and facilitate information to consumers from economic operators.
